See the seller's listing for full details and description of any imperfections. ... Car runs out super strong. Its is a stiff riding car. Everything works like it should. It has some aftermarket suspension parts on it, panhard bar, bilstein shocks, matching springs, frame strengtheners. It has pacesetter headers with no cats, the pervious owner did however leave the original exhaust manifolds with the car. There is an aftermarket stereo in the car. Car is 16 years old with 89999 miles and shows as such. This is #27 out of 29 production LT4 Firehawks built in 1997 by SLP Engineering. These cars were a much rarer version of the already rare SLP Firehawk, that was produced from 1992 through 2002. The LT4 Firehawk was a very limited production that utilized the LT4 motor from the limited edition 1996 Corvette Grand Sport. There were a number of engines left over at the end of the 96 production run, and SLP approached GM about doing a special LT4 Firehawk for the last year of the LT1 based F-body (Firebird and Camaro). They took 130 LT4 engines, balanced and blueprinted them (rebuilt them to exact manufacturer specifications) and prepared them for use in 100 Camaro SSs and 30 Firehawks. But wait, didn't I say this were only 29 production Firehawks? Yes, I did, the extra Firehawk was a prototype and was not sold to the public. The process of building these cars was also very unique. GM built a special order police package Firebird Formula or Camaro Z28, and then shipped them to SLP. They then installed the LT4 motor, functional ram-air fiberglass hood, upgraded springs with Bilstein shocks, larger front sway bar, custom 17x9" wheels with 275/40ZR17 tires. They also installed a custom Firehawk plaque, and included custom key chains and a custom car cover. The cars were then sent to the dealers where they were often sold for significantly more than sticker price. Sticker on this particular car was $40,378. I will entertain offers if you dont want to wait for auction end. Car is very well documented. It is what it is, A future collectible that is still affordable ( for the time being anyways). |
