Houston/Katy, TX A Rare 2002 Formula Firehawk with 6000 miles. This Formula Firehawk is like new, in excellent condition in and out. Existing factory warranty expires in October 2005. No extended warranty. The Formula Firehawk could become a collector's item since these are the last of the F-body models built. There were only 901 Formulas out of a total of 30,690 Firebirds built in 2002. Only 167 of these 2002 Formulas became Firehawks. This car may very well be 1 of 25 in the bright red Formula Firehawk with the Hurst 6-speed manual transmission. I am the original owner, a non-smoker, very little city driving, and this car has always been covered in the garaged. It is factory stock. Health issues is forcing me to sell my Firehawk. This Formula Firehawk has SLP Engineering built number 1073 with original installed options of Base 345 Alterations, 5-Spoke Chrome Wheels, Floor mats, Portfolio. After the SLP Engineering alterations, the Firehawk is 1 out of the top 6 fastest production cars built in 2002. Zero to 60 in less than 5.0 seconds. The Formula Firehawk is a little lighter than the Trans Am Firehawk and therefore making it faster. In 2001, Pontiac called it a true America modern muscle car.
