Trans Am Firehawk T-Top (do not know the build # because I just never looked it up). V8-LS1 NHRA package. Dyno'd at 355.
Tires are 4 years old and have less than a 200 miles on them. Replaced the old tires because of rot not driving.
Installed stainless steel Kook headers with high flow cat conv., and dual tip loud mouth resonaters. She sounds, and drives, like a beast.
She doesn't break a sweat until you hit about 150 and even then she keeps going.
Only discrepencies on her are
- a chip on the hood (you can see it in photo) smaller than a kids pinky fingernail.
- Motor for driver side window is slowly dying (car is 15 years old)
- Motor is shot on driver side pop up headlight. (I assume its the motor, or a wire is out).
Aftermarket products are (besides entire exhaust system) are:
- Stabilizer bar over engine, which increases stability when rounding a bend.
- Skip chip installed, (allows you to shift from 1st, 2nd, 3rd when you want to and how you want too). Those who have owned camaro's and firebirds know what I am talking about.
- Windows were tinted at Beaufort Auto Glass in Beaufort, South Carolina in 2002. Looks great even today.
I don't need to sell her. But I want too. So price is not negotiable. I will also ship it to where you want to go within CONUS, only.
More photos coming in July, just fishing for now.
The car has spent almost its entire life in Wisconsin. I bought her brand new in the fall 2002 (in South Carolina/Military). I drove her hard from 2002 - 2004. Put on about 25,000 miles on her in that time. From 2004 until now she has been only driven in the summer months, kept in a garage (seen in picture) with a car cover on her. She does not know what snow, sleet and salt is. She barely remembers what rain is. You will not find an ounce of rust on her. Besides the exhaust and other aftermarket parts I mentioned the interior is completely the same as when it rolled off assembly line. Leather seats look brand new as well. CD player works as well. |
